We booked through Webjet and paid quite a hefty fee only requiring a $40 fee at Hertz when my husband arrived at airport. They charged over triple that. So for a tiny Suzuki swift for 25 hours it cost $220. I contacted Hertz and spoke to Tanya who was not helpful and said that was a fair price. She then proceeded to tell me they had no communication with Webjet so that was our problem. My recommendation is to line up at wait at AVIS with everyone else.
Pleasant staff members but excess is exorbitant and costly to remove. Insurances should improve but that's not the fault of Hertz

Because they could not supply a vehicle that I requested on the day and i was not impressed so I cancelled my booking and went elsewhere
